Christian F. Dethloff appointed new CEO of LayerOne
Oslo, Norway – December 1 – 2022 - Layer One announces the appointment of Christian F. Dethloff as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 1st December 2022.
Christian comes from the position as CEO of Pharos Advisors. He brings extensive experience within advising and investment in growth companies, financing, IPOs and M&A transactions in the renewable energy space. Christian has headed up Elkem Solar AS from initiation to commercialization, served as SVP for Solar Business Development in Orkla ASA and worked with BCG in Germany on restructuring the capital goods industry. He started his career in product supply and engineering with Procter&Gamble in Brussels, and holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Universität Karlsruhe KIT in Germany.

Christian succeeds Einar Eilertsen who has held an interim role as CEO in LayerOne since the company was purchased by the Norwegian industrial investment company, Aker, in 2021.
