This statement applies to layeronematerials.com. Further, this privacy statement provides information to external data subjects who are not engaged or employed by LayerOne, where the data subjects provide us with personal data, or we collect data as part of our normal business operations, from a third party service provider, contract partner, public sources, previous employers or organisations, trade fairs, or communications channels such as e-mail.
LayerOne operates the layeronematerials.com website and is the controller for the processing of personal data generated from using the site, as well as a number of the processes described below.

When you contact us, such as for business relations or interests, selling or ordering products and services or in relation to projects, media or investor contacts, supplier relations, sponsorships, or sign up for an event, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, country/location, job title, customer relationship management data, representation and company affiliation and any other information that you wish to provide to us in order to enable us to meet your request or interest, provide support, or comply with contractual obligations or prepare to enter into a contract. When required due to legal or regulatory requirements, or internal standards, we also process personal data such as information related to human rights verifications, possible conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality information and general legal compliance.
The legal basis for such processing is either your directly obtained consent or our legitimate interest in processing the information due to our business needs as part of our operation when these interests are not overridden by your rights to data protection. Where we rely on consent, you are free to withdraw this at any time. Should you wish not to receive any communication from us, please send an e-mail to info@layeronematerials.com and we will honor your request.

The legal basis for processing and storing your job application, CV and related information is your consent and that the processing is necessary in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. When we conduct Integrity Due Diligence investigations
When determined necessary, in order to assess integrity and compliance risks associated with proposed or current business partners, LayerOne will effectuate Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) investigations. Other details, such as social security number or passport number may be included in the identification process of a subject, to ensure correct identification.
Further, in an IDD we may also process name and if any of your close family relations are related to public authorities or are publicly exposed persons. The legal basis is to comply with legal obligations, pursue our legitimate interests and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
When we rent out facilities
When LayerOne is renting out property, we process personal data about the personnel of the tenants. Such data will typically include name, e-mail address, company and title. We do this to provide contractual services, secure and maintain the property and personnel according to applicable standards, and to improve how we deliver our responsibilities and services. For these purposes, LayerOne will be the controller of the personal data when determining the purposes and mean of processing. We will not process your data for any other purpose. The legal basis for processing such personal data is our interest in renting out the property and delivering the agreed contractual services.
